The Sixth Anniversary of our beloved Timi.

The Sixth Anniversary of our beloved Timi.

Dearest Andylon,

As we approach the sixth anniversary of our beloved Timi's death, March 30th, Tom Tumilty had a great idea, and I totally agreed with him:

Both of us are totally in love with the song "Love" the long version.

Six months ago I wrote you for the history of this magnificent masterpiece, and I saved it!  We wondered if you would post it on the home page next to the song clip?

“Love- the long version”

TIMI YURO August 4, 1940-March 30, 2004 The Story Behind the Song “Love- the long version”

Several months ago, I contacted Andylon regarding the “story behind the song” Love, the long version.

This song is found on the home page of the web site. Andylon offered the following explanation of this beautiful vocal masterpiece, which we consider the perfect “bookend” to “Hurt”.

This song “Almost Finished” was meant to surprise Timi for release and she had just died. Andylon had sent this on to Richard Caruso, who was devastated upon learning of Timi’s death.

Richard told Andylon he cried and couldn’t believe what was done arrangement and orchestra -wise as producer. It was best out of respect to put this on the shelf and see it as her last recording in peace (since Andylon felt this might have been seen only to make money out of her passing—which was certainly never Richard’s and Andylon’s intention.)

The song has the message universal “Love” and as Andylon explains, if we listen carefully to the words—Timi never found the “love” on earth and knew she would only find it when she passed from this world and going into the other world.

Note: This is why Andylon used water in the beginning and at the end of the song—electronic space sound—meaning her soul was leaving her body to find the real “love” which awaited her in the next world.

After that explanation, we listened to the song again, and several times afterward, finally grasping the extraordinary imagery both the producer and writer captured-- and captured they did.

The feeling is that this is certainly the finest and best she had to offer us before her illness forced her to lose her voice permanently and ultimately, her life. Perhaps one day, it will be released.

If, for whatever reason, it is not, we can take comfort knowing that we can always listen to it here on this web site.

We hope this gives the listener a satisfactory explanation and much peace in listening to it.

Love,

Ann Marie Fiondella
