Live at PJ's, club in Los Angeles with an "unreleased" Live recording I apologize from April 1969 at Santa Monica boulevard. Never released till today on any album or Cd!
This is a RARE UNITED STATES Release and is as RARE AS HEN'S TEETH! Some Timi Yuro authorities who have written biographies and discographies claim this album was never issued in the USA. They are wrong! But it was issued in such a very small quantity that it is almost as if it were never released.
The little lady with the big voice is captured here at the legendary Hollywood PJs Club in 1969. This original rare Liberty album was so called never released. United Artists decided in 1976 to issue this LP in a very small release consisting of 7 live tracks from that concert and then coupled that with some rare studio archival material on the LP flip side.
The album was then quickly withdrawn. The sound is very soulful, At PJ's, Timi is backed by a tight Stax sounding house band, and she performs with her customary passion.
Live at PJs serves as a reminder since this is the only recorded testament to her live performance during her heyday.

Cd Live at P J's - on Cd label RPM - 2004

This is the third of RPM's impromptu Tim Yuro series i.e. we released one which was so well received that we released another, and now a third with more planned.
The little lady with the big voice is captured here at the legendary PJs Club in 1969. The original album release on Liberty consisted of only 8 tracks, was issued only in the US, coupled with some studio material on the LP flip side then quickly withdrawn.
RPM present the Live half of the album released for the first time in Europe, and reissued for the first time anywhere, now digitally remastered and enhanced by the reinstatement of the two other songs recorded across that weekend in April '69.
Bonus tracks have also been added in the form of alternate takes recorded on different nights, of three of the songs, all recently mixed down from the original 1" mutli track masters. The sound is very soulful, Timi is backed by a tight Stax sounding house band, and she performs with her customary passion.
Timi is still in our world but has been ill for sometime and never been able to record again since the early 1980's, a great loss to the music world. Live at PJs serves as a reminder of that loss, and is the only recorded testament to her live performance during her heyday.

Performing in Holland in 1981-1982 she struck a deal with the Dutch arm of Ariola Record Company in 1982 for the Benelux (Belgium-Netherlands-Luxembourg) and finalized the production in a Dutch studio in Holland and also went for mastering at Emi - Bovema in Heemstede-Holland to release this album "Today" in late September 1982.

This Cd release in 1990 has a different title as the Today vinyl album and is entitled Timi Yuro - Sings Willie Nelson.

The Record Label For Die Hard Timi Yuro Fans RPM - UK

RPM's Record company impromptu released four Timi Yuro Cd's out of this series i.e. with more planned.

The remarkable voice of TIMI YURO led many to believe she was either a man, or black, or both.
They were shocked to find such a powerful voice eminating from such a petite singer. Rising to fame with HURT, Yuro had a long run of US hits on Liberty.
This first UK compilation includes many of these, the pick of her albums and b-sides plus the Northern Soul rarity IT'LL NEVER BE OVER FOR ME.

Compilation Cd The Voice That Got Away on rpm 167

Like its predecessor, this compilation concentrates heavily on her classic 60's LIBERTY recordings, drawing from the pick of Timi's album tracks and b-sides.
As a special bonus, we've also included a couple of her '70s singles which have never been released in the UK - one of which, "Nothing Takes The Place Of You"/"When Something Is Wrong With My Baby", is perhaps her rarest record, now changing hands for £50 a copy. As before Timi herself has been kept closely involved in the development of this CD - she was delighted by our first offering.
